Invisalign Clear Aligners in Thurnby Lodge

Invisalign pairs proprietary SmartTrack material with the ClinCheck planning platform for precise, staged tooth movement. You'll find it offered by both specialist orthodontists and trained general dentists in Thurnby Lodge. You can usually preview a 3D simulation of your finished result before treatment is even approved.

The Technology Behind Invisalign

SmartTrack material is Align's own aligner polymer, built to keep force consistent from day one to day fourteen of each tray and to fit more snugly than generic materials.

ClinCheck software produces the digital treatment plan — a stage-by-stage simulation your clinician approves before manufacture, and one you can usually see for yourself up front.

iTero scanning is the digital scanner that captures your teeth in minutes without messy putty. The scan drives the plan and is reused at progress visits; it's standard at most Thurnby Lodge Invisalign practices.

Attachments are discreet composite nubs placed on certain teeth so the tray can achieve rotations and vertical shifts it couldn't manage on shape alone. Nearly all cases use some.

The Invisalign Product Range

Invisalign Comprehensive is the full treatment option for moderate to complex cases, with unlimited refinement trays within the treatment cycle — suitable for significant crowding, spacing and bite correction.

Invisalign Lite covers mild cases with a defined number of trays. It's cheaper than Comprehensive but doesn't include unlimited refinements, so it suits straightforward alignment only.

Invisalign Go is the general-dentist product for front-teeth-only cases; it's fine for light cosmetic alignment but not for posterior movement or bite correction.

Invisalign Teen is built around teenage development — wear-indicator dots, replacement trays for the inevitable lost aligner, and space for erupting teeth.
